  I'd like to share an experience with you! It turns out that Applebees in the Viewmont Mall is in fact NOT family friendly. My wife was in there today with my youngest son (one year old). They were out doing some errands/shopping and decided to stop for lunch. First of all, yes they have been going a good portion of the day and my son was tired and hungry. It happens with young children. He got loud, and my wife tried her best to calm him until their food arrived. When their food finally arrived, the server accompanied the food with the check and the words "no rush". My wife is a server herself, and would NEVER give the customer the check with their bill unless they ask for it. That is BY FAR the rudest thing I've ever heard of a server doing. Don't worry, my wife got the hint. She didn't eat, but she took her meal to go and left. I understand that young children can be distracting at times. I also understand that it can be "distracting" to other customers. However, to essentially ask a customer to leave with their child like that is above and beyond what's right. Thank you, Applebees of Viewmont Mall, for reducing our choices of places to eat by one more. We will NEVER be back.

  Delicious food, came out hot and fresh. Waiter was very nice and friendly, immediately brought out refills before we were done. Very good ambiance. I got the half rack of ribs, which was delicious. Highly recommended.
